Sonia Steinbach
WORSHIP DIRECTOR
Music has been my lifelong companion, rooted in a musically talented family where my parents first sparked my passion for worship. I had the joy of following in their footsteps by attending the same Bible school they did, where I spent a year immersed in theology. During that time, I traveled with student teams to lead worship and perform solos and duets in various Slavic churches. Later, I ministered to youth in a band called Jesus At Midnight (J.A.M.), which—true to its name—started its sessions at midnight to reach teenagers during those late-night hours.
Today, leading our congregation through song is a joy and a blessing. Outside of my ministry here, I am a recording artist currently working in the studio on a personal album project designed to inspire faith and encourage listeners everywhere. My weekdays stay just as colorful as I run a dog daycare and boarding service, and during the busy seasons, I step behind the lens as a professional wedding photographer.
When I’m finally off-duty, I love traveling, getting lost in a good book, and embracing anything the color pink!
Fun Fact: I’m still hunting for the world’s most mouth-puckering sour candy. If you have a tip for one that makes your eyes water, let me know!
